I am a textile artist living and teaching beneath the big skies of Lincolnshire. The skies and fens provide me with a constant source of inspiration for my work. I share my creative lifestyle with various chickens, goats, geese, cats, and supportive family and friends.

I have worked for 20 years as a teacher developing my passion for patchwork and quilting in my spare(!) time. I obtained a BEd (Hons) degree in 1994 and have many years teaching children. I have City and Guilds qualifications in Patchwork and Quilting. In 2007 I gave up full time teaching and became a qualified adult tutor.

I have been a member of the Quilters Guild for many years and I am currently the National Young Quilters Officer. I belong to two local quilting groups and I am a member of Textile Lincs, a well respected exhibiting group. I have had my work exhibited on a number of occasions including at Lincoln Cathedral, Tranmer House in Sutton Hoo and The Yarrow Gallery in Oundle.

I gain huge satisfaction from sharing my skills with others and enabling them to be creative. I have a particular interest in teaching young people and children as they are the textile artists of the future.

I have public liability insurance, enhanced CRB checks and have undertaken Safeguarding Adults training.
